Overview

Cotiviti is looking for Associate Technical Lead Working in an agile software development environment, the DevOps lead is responsible for automating build-test-deploy lifecycle for wide variety of applications. Candidate will have to collaborate across Application development teams & infrastructure teams. He should be able to poses strong leadership skills to drive the DevOps Vision.  The candidate will work as a lead of the DevOps team to focus on enhancing platform services and contributing code to multiple automation projects. The DevOps lead will work collaboratively with the Development, IT Operations, and QA teams both onshore and offshore in implementing software configuration management best practices to accelerate and optimize delivery methodologies. The ideal candidate will be a team player and a self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced job, thrives on problem solving, experimenting with fail fast attitude and is committed to delivering seamless product availability to large enterprises. Key Responsibilities:

The candidates first project will be to provide CI/CD automation and help drive the migration effort of converting Cotiviti applications to run in a containerized environment utilizing Kubernetes/RedHat OpenShift. Collaborate with Application delivery leads and managers to understand the priorities of each product, define the standards and enable release on demand. Responsible for maintaining the tools and processes for a large, enterprise level system in a fast-paced, agile, service-oriented environment. Work with team members to manage and administer enterprise-wide development tools – Bitbucket/Git, Jenkins, Nexus, OpenShift, SonarQube. Automate build, packaging, testing, and deployment processes using tools and/or scripts. Responsible for continuous integration and continuous deployment for multiple initiatives across all products. Work with production release team to identify and implement methodology for highly flexible and responsive releases (weekly, biweekly, monthly, and bimonthly). Lead the Automation of end-to-end build processes, patching, and production product deployments.

Structure and maintain the software configuration management to build very secure and high availability systems. Scale infrastructure to meet rapidly increasing demand. Monitor site stability and performance and troubleshoot site issues. Build and maintain a resilient, secure, and efficient SaaS application platform to meet established SLAs. Provide support to development teams that use the automated infrastructure. Collaborate with developers to bring new features and services into production. An understanding of the full stack software development (databases, services, REST, client-side, user interface). Working closely with Delivery teams to engineer solutions for production/enterprise automation efforts across all lines of business within Enterprise Client Engineering.

Work with various stakeholders to set-up required lower level and production environments including the deployment of applications, artifacts, and tools. Emphasize automation, implement processes, procedures, and best practice guidelines for code management. Guide teams with DevOps best practices, including improved scalability, performance, reliability, and speed to market. Interface with leadership, Group Leads, and Lead Architects to convey infrastructure requirements, plan, and schedule deployment of tasks, and resolve any issues that impact deployment of the Application delivery systems.

Education, Skills, Abilities, Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) with a major in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 8+ years in DevOps (Preferably DevOps experience with Application development teams)
  • Understanding of DevOps, Purpose and poses strong leadership skills to drive the DevOps Vision
  • Experience in effective delegation of tasks and solution provider
  • Experience in measuring DevOps KPIs and present to Sr leadership team on timely basis
  • Should be able to collaborate across Application development teams & infrastructure teams.
  • Hands on experience in CI/CD pipeline implementation using Jenkins/Bamboo
  • Strong experience in scripting languages Groovy, Python, & Bash
  • Experience with Maven/Nexus/Git/Eclipse
  • Experience in Static code analysis and Security scanning tools (Ex: SonarQube and Veracode)
  • Hands on experience in AWS cloud technologies
  • Experience in Implementing containerization using Kubernetes/OpenShift.
  • Creating docker images and using docker command line
  • Experience in configuration management tools like Ansible/Chef/Puppet (One of them)
  • Hands on Experience in infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform/AWS cloud formation
  • Experience with collaborative version control systems (Git/ GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket).
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare.
  • Experience with managing code repositories and best practices as it relates to DevOps.
  • Knowledge of basic Java constructs in both web and thick client applications.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Oracle DB deployments.
  • Experience with development using SAFe Agile principles.
  • Project Management Tools: JIRA, Confluence
  • Professional with ability to properly handle confidential information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and quickly absorb new material, Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines.

  • Experience in health care industry is a plus.
