Overview

Sr. Software Engineer is an integral part of our engineering team, responsible for design, implementation, testing and maintenance of innovative software products. The successful candidate must be able to quickly learn the existing systems and components, actively participate in expanding the current systems with new components, as well as develop new components using big data and other emerging technologies. Successful candidates must have strong Java knowledge, experience working with server-side web application software for functionality across multiple browser platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, test and maintain our innovative software products .
  • Take ownership of features and components .
  • Extend existing systems and components as the business grows.
  • Utilize test-driven development approach to deliver commercial quality code.
  • Integrate the software artifacts with CI/CD frameworks.
  • Mentor less experienced engineers.
  • Perform code and design reviews.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
  • 5+ years of hands-on coding experience in Java or C# and Web Development.
  • Hands on knowledge and work experience with one of RDBMS: MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, containerization, Kubernetes clusters and related tooling is a big plus.
  • Knowledge of AWS or other cloud-based platforms is a plus.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS, XSLT, XSD. Knowledge on Angular is a plus.
  • Understand and apply quality techniques and practices (automated unit testing, Test Driven Design/Development, java performance analysis, continuous integration).
  • Experience with tools like Maven, Git, Gradle.
