Working in an Agile software development environment, the Delivery Manager-Quality Engineering will define the Automation test strategy and approach for PPM Products, provide quality assurance leadership, and be ultimately responsible for ensuring product quality. He will also be responsible for QA activities within other portfolios within IT organization. This individual must have a proven track record of success building, leading, and managing a functional and Automation QA team with a strong sense of quality ownership and exposure to various automation tools. This is a hands-on job that requires strategic thinking and planning to provide leadership and expertise throughout the entire QA lifecycle, ensuring the success of QA team in all testing efforts within multiple products. The manager will review the Key Metrics, team outputs; provide regular direction, mentorship, and coaching to Automation QA team members. He will act as a change agent within the business to drive quality.

• Encourage team to come up with new tools/Technologies to provide quicker feedback to development teams.
• Should be able to guide the team to develop in-house tools using Open-source technologies and RPA solutions.
• Track and monitor the defect leakage to UAT and production. Ensure to do a RCA (root cause analysis) to improve the test coverage.
• Produce an activity report/metrics for every sprint to Sr Management. Working closely with the Quality Strategist to develop the reporting needs for the Release readiness meetings and promoting the software to different environments.
• Maintains an understanding of QA testing methodologies, processes and associated test repository management. Be a champion for Quality Management within Delivery organization and track Quality Control metrics.
• Provide coaching and guidance to the Quality Assurance Team on best practices.
• Responsible for resource & career development planning for offshore QA staff.
• Manage team knowledge development and training to ensure expertise for key application testing, system deployment and cross-training of team members.
• Implement improvements, which may require ingenuity and creativity, within quality assurance program.
• Develop effective relationships within and among key stakeholders crossing business and technical teams, negotiating expected outcomes.
• Establishing the strategy that may consist of, but not limited to, data management and refresh schedule, pre-prod/ staging environments, test system integration with up-line and downline code and end-2-end testing.
• Proficient in continuous integration and continuous deployment activities and cloud-based tools.
• Directs the implementation of continuous quality improvements across the team to improve reliability of test systems, improved speed in remediation of issues, closer alignment with product delivery requirements, and proactive measures to improve overall product quality that will result in reduced impact to project schedules and cost related to those delays

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
• Masters or bachelor’s in engineering in IT/ Electronics / Communication / Computer Science /MCA.
• 12 + years’ experience in IT services with minimum 8+ years’ experience in leading Automation Teams / Software Development Testing /IT Delivery, 2 Years of experience in Managing the people.
• Experience with Tools like Selenium, BDD/Cucumber, Jenkins, Bamboo, Bitbucket, Nexus & Maven
• Exposure to Azure/AWS Cloud technologies.
• Good understanding of Agile Methodology, Test automation process and DevOps practices.
• Highly organized with the ability to strike a good balance between technology, business needs and leadership Capabilities.
• Should be able to coordinate Engineering teams to understand the expectations and delivery automation solutions.
• Should be able to guide the team in right direction while suggesting appropriate technology/tools, approaches to bring the innovation to solve the challenges in Test automation.
• Good to have exposure to AI/ML technologies and automate manual tasks involved in test data generation, Test case failure analysis, Release management process, Build/Deployment process.
