Overview

The Senior Recruiter is a true strategic business partner to our hiring teams, with the ability to utilize recruitment expertise to effectively partner with managers across assigned departments in proactively sourcing, attracting and hiring the best qualified talent. This role may have specific focus areas, so the Recruiter will need to have solid experience in one or more of the following: financial auditing, technical recruiting, campus recruiting and building relationships with relevant schools, healthcare industry experience, and/or high-volume recruiting.

 

This role will focus on local recruiting for our Mexico City office as well as recruiting for roles in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a partner, consultant, and advisor to management by developing and driving strategies to recruit talent in a highly competitive market. Recruitment efforts include sourcing, screening, interviewing, and developing a talent pipeline to hire talent within the business.
  • Leverage all aspects of sourcing and candidate development including job posting, job board mining, internet sourcing, social networking, employee referrals, and networking events, etc.
  • Ensure an impressive candidate experience through thorough communication and timely feedback, as well as interviewer preparedness and effective interview format.
  • Consult with candidates on navigating the interview process, negotiating pay and position expectations, and communicating regularly with hiring teams to monitor and maintain satisfaction.
  • Track metrics and use data for strategic analysis of recruiting campaigns
  • May focus on specific business areas such as retail, technology, healthcare, early career/ campus recruiting, etc.
  • Assist Immigration team with US job posting/candidate review and vetting.
  • Attending job fairs and build relationships with local universities
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting.
  • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Fully fluent in English & Spanish required
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent
  • 5+ years relevant recruiting experience
  • Experience recruiting for Mexican-based positions as well as local market knowledge
  • Experience recruiting for US-based roles preferred.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with a demonstrable knowledge of recruiting tools and methodology. Strong ability to effectively manage tasks, using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation and government law.
  • Strong computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with ATS and HRIS software, preferably with iCims. 
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines within time restraints.  Ability to multi-task in a very high volume, dynamic, high exposure position and handle stress in pressure situations.
  • Excellent verbal, written, follow-up and interpersonal communication skills with strong grammar and writing skills are required. Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and be able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitor own work to ensure quality.
  • This position will be located in our Mexico City office and requires onsite work in the office 3 days per week and 2 days remote.

NOTE: All interviews will be conducted in English.

 

Base compensation ranges from $35,000-$45,000/pesos per month. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
